The Indian Association of Merrimack Valley (IAMV) invites college bound students to apply for the IAMV Student 2010 Scholarship Award. Students of the IAMV members must be paid member of the year 2008, 2009 and 2010 to be eligible are invited to submit applications for scholarships.

Scholarship awards are expected to be $500 each. The number of awards will depend on scholarship contribution received in this year and/or carried forward from the previous year(s).

The award(s) will be presented to the student(s) at the annual 2010 Holi Celebration. Scholarships are awarded competitively on academic merit by way of selection panel.

Completed applications must be mailed in advance to be received by February 15, 2010

Youth Group

IAMV’s Youth Group is a lively, vibrant community of teens who enjoy sharing life’s many experiences with each other. Youth Group provides exciting events in a warm, nurturing environment for all who wish to participate. IAMV's youth groups offer a multitude of activities including social, religious, cultural, athletic, community service and more, all designed to provide opportunities for youth to meet and interact in a positive Indian environment.

The overall program follows the guidelines set forth by the IAMV to provide youth with experiences and opportunities in the community service and leadership. The Youth Group activities are planned and implemented by the youth and adult leaders with the guidance of our Youth Programs Coordinator. Each year is a new year for Youth Group.
