Checks must be received by October 30th, 2009: Add $5 per Person after the due date. Please note: Seats are limited. Reservation is strictly on first come first serve basis. Please reserve your entry by sending in your commitment via checks at the earliest. In the past we had to unfortunately decline requests for tickets after the deadline. Entry will not be permitted at the gate either. Also, note that verbal and/or E-mail commitments will not be accepted as a method of reserving seats.

Membership Info

Membership fee for the calendar year (January to December) of 2009 is $15 per family or $10 per person. Life membership fee is $150 per family.

Directions
From 495 North or South: Take the Massachusetts Avenue exit towards North Andover and go right at the end of the ramp (Mass. Ave.). Go to the second set of lights and turn left onto Chickering Road/Route 125. Proceed to the first set of lights, at Main Street. You will see the Middle School on your left. Turn left at the intersection and enter the Middle School at the second driveway entrance. Keep to the right and park behind the school, or in the Visitor parking spots at the front of the school.

IAMV’s core strength is its dedicated volunteers and executive committee, which is backed by continued enthusiastic support from the area community. Diwali Cultural Program

The deadline for participating and to submit entries in the cultural program for Diwali 2009 is 12th September. IAMV cultural committee will confirm the entries by 21st September. The decision of IAMV cultural committee will be final. Please contact IAMV Cultural at iamv.cultural@gmail.com to submit participant’s entries. Also, visit the website at www.iamv.org for a complete information, rules and regulations for all upcoming cultural events.

Please Note: All the selected participants must send their checks by 5th October to reserve their place in the cultural program. Failing to do so will cause their entry to be cancelled. Please include a form / detailed note about who you are paying for with Last Name of Parents and Children. If you are paying for someone else, please provide details of that Family.

Youth Group

The IAMV Youth Group has been very active in the past year!!! We have been volunteering in the surrounding community for more than two years now, and we plan to expand our horizons even more in this upcoming year. Since January 2007, we have been visiting the Sutton Hill Nursing Home in North Andover once a month. The seniors enjoy playing bingo, doing arts and crafts, and playing board games with us during our visits (and we enjoy these activities as well!). We have enjoyed this so much that in the following year, we hope to start visiting the Boys and Girls Clubs in Lawrence and spend time with the children there.

The overall program follows the guidelines set forth by the IAMV to provide youth with experiences and opportunities in the community service and leadership. The Youth Group activities are planned and implemented by the youth and adult leaders with the guidance of our Youth Programs Coordinator. Each year is a new year for Youth Group.
